Artwork

A snippet of stuff I do. I seem to always be in experiment mode.

2015 Storm Drain project - located near the Downtown Dayton Metro Library

Acrylic, 9X12 canvas
Clearly inspired by stained glass :)

Acrylic & gouache, 5X7 canvas

Outdoor commissioned mural (2011)

Oil Pastel

Oil paint

Oil pastel
Early abstract experimentation.

Color-aid Paper
Done in a color theory class. Took a black & white photo and assigned color to the shades of gray. When you take a picture of this in black & white, it looks like the original.

Terra Cotta clay
One of my favorites, this is a slab sculpture. Cut into pieces (like a puzzle), reassembled after firing, then mounted on a board (which I also cut myself)...and heavy.

Micron Pen, white index card, 3X5
I did this for my boss for Christmas 2012.

This was the first piece I ever sold to a person I didn't know...so I guess that's when I became a "professional"??  :)
